11th World Championship of Fireworks

This year the event will be characterized by an itinerant form and will take place in a new location, that is the area of Verbania and Novara; In the 2009 edition, mountain and lake landscapes will therefore be the natural background for extraordinary fireworks shows.

The towns of Arona and Verbania on the Lake Maggiore, Omegna on the Lake Orta, Mergozzo on the homonymous lake, Santa Maria Maggiore in the Valley of Vigezzo and the Toce Waterfalls in Formazza will be the fascinating settings for this international event. All these locations , already well known for their beauty will provide for always different backgrounds to the fantastic fireworks performances.

In the 2009 edition the partecipants comes from 4 different continents and all of them represent high level companies, which already took part in the most important pyrotechnic festivals in the world.

Different styles and ways of performing pyrotechnics are going to be dispayed, to the great surprise and satisfaction of the entire audience. The magic art of dominating fire will play, as usual, the main role in the World Championship of Fireworks "Fiori di Fuoco", where new choreographies, arabesques and colored shapes will fill the sky, leaving the audience breathless.

Each team will prove its capability using a great deal of imagination and creativeness together with the most advanced technologies, in order to win the longed-for “Fiori-di-Fuoco” reward.

The 5 participants together with Parente Fireworks, organizer of the entire event and performing its own shows on the opening and closing dates, will certainly give their best to perform seven unforgettable fireworks displays, where the sky, waters and mountains of Verbania and Novara provinces are going to be painted with thousands colours and lights in one of the most fascinating shows in the world.
