APOGÉE FIREWORKS – CANADAThe company Apogée, seated in Montreal- Quebec, was founded in 2001 by Alain Carbonneau, who has a great passion for pyrotechnics and whose adventure in the fireworks field had started already in 1989.
After working a few years for a fireworks company in Montreal , Alain Carbonneau decides to widen his experiences and starts co-operating with a great producer of international events; this gives him the chance to get in touch with the greatest fireworks masters in the world and to work for several years on the technical direction of well-known festivals, such as "Les grands feux Loto-Québec aux Chutes Montmorency" in Québec and the international competition "Dunhill Symphony of Fire" in South Africa.
Following such experiences Alain Carbonneau decides to build up a company of his own, which quickly reaches important and successfully results at international level. Thanks to what experienced and learned during the previous years, Alain Carbonneau succeeds in combining his professional knowledge with his great enthusiasm and inventiveness. This combination enables Apogée to make itself a reputation in big famous Canadian and worldwide shows, as well as winning the “golden bouquet” in one of the most important pyrotechnic competition in the world: ” Les Nuits de Feu” at the Castle of Chantilly in France.
Hereunder Some of Apogée’s most important shows are listed :
- 1st prize of the audience and of the jury at the “Pyronale” Festival in Berlin (Germany)
- Co-production of the big show “Les Fêtes de Genève” in Swizerland
- Participation in the “World Pyro Olimpics” in Manila.
